PURPOSE: A subscriber identity module and a method for management of power of SIM are provided to minimize the additional configuration for the power saving. CONSTITUTION: In the transition to a sleep mode, an application service operator(201) transmits the sleep mode converting information to a host. According to the power off request signal of the application service operator, a power control unit(202) cuts off the electricity to the application service operator. According to the wakeup signal of the host, the power control unit supplies the electricity to the application service operator. In the transition to the sleep mode, a status information storage unit(203) stores the status information of the application service operator. |
