<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with the function of varying the probability which enables the averaging of the number of prize balls per unit time by setting the probability of winning the jackpot relatively high while having the gambling possiblity though moderate. <P>SOLUTION: The probability of winning the jackpot is raised higher after the end of the jackpot game when the specified jackpot symbols are defined and displayed. Thereafter, the dropping lottery for bringing the jackpot probability raised to the low probability again and the drop stop lottery for determining whether the dropping lottery is stopped or not are carried out as each slot game is executed. The probabilities in the dropping lottery and the drop stop lottery are lowered and raised when the number of reservation memory exceeds the given value and when the dropping lottery is stopped by the drop stop lottery, the stoppage is released as the prescribed variation pattern is displayed.
