The flying piston comprises a sealing element (53) for sealing a ventilation opening (35) when the sealing element lies opposite to the ventilation opening. The flying piston is spaced apart from an envelope-shaped wall (39) in an area of a cavity when the sealing element lies opposite to the cavity.
