PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a current to be consumed flowing through an actuator for driving a brake. SOLUTION: This braking device for a vehicle is structured so that a dither current is superimposed on an indication current determined in response to stepping of a brake pedal, the current is made to flow as an output current to the actuator for driving the brake, and the actuator is driven to generate a brake force. When the brake pedal is kept to be stepped, the superposition of the dither current is stopped, the indication current is lowered than that when the stepping of the brake pedal is started to be kept, and the lowered indication current is made to flow as the output current to the actuator for driving the brake. |
