Road toll system, vehicle device and method for same

The vehicle device (10) has a short range distance receiver (4) for receiving identification marks (BID) of stationary navigation guides (9), and has a mobile radio transmitter (6) for setting navigation guide identification mark related position report or toll transactions (T) through a mobile network (7) at a toll center (8). The vehicle device determines its position exclusively by locally distributed navigation guides without using satellite signals. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating toll transactions in toll systems.
