<p>The cover (7) has a protecting surface section (1) covering part of a side of a data carrier (10). Another protecting surface section (2) is connected with the former protecting surface section for covering another side of the data carrier. The protecting surface sections are provided in a sheet of paper (5) including an electrically or magnetically conductive material. The sheet of paper and the protecting surface sections are integrally connected with each other, and a rebated joint (4a) is provided between the protecting surface sections. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a protective cover for data carrier.</p> |
