<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly flame-retardant resin composition emitting no toxic substances when discarded. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises 100 pts. mass of the thermoplastic resin component(A) described below, (e) 0.001-1 pt. mass of an organic peroxide, (f) 0.03-2.5 pt(s). mass of a crosslinking auxiliary and 50-300 pts. mass of a metal hydrate(B). This composition is obtained by partially crosslinking by heating/kneading the above components at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the component(A). The thermoplastic resin component(A) comprises (a) 20-96.5 mass% of at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of copolymer rubbers of (a1) an ethylene-α-olefin, (a2) ethylene-vinyl acetate and an ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid (ester) and (a3) ethylene propylene, respectively, (b) 0-36.5 mass% of a hydrogenated product of a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and conjugated diene compound, (c) 3-50 mass% of a polypropylene resin and (d) 0.5-25 mass% of a hydrogenated product of a copolymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified aromatic vinyl compound and conjugated diene compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
