PURPOSE: An emergency lamp system and a method for driving an emergency lamp are provided to reduce a cost for installing the emergency lamp by easily changing or adding the location of the emergency lamp. CONSTITUTION: A power transmitter(100) includes a radio frequency(RF) antenna for transmission and an antenna driving circuit. The RF antenna for transmission transmits an RF signal. The antenna driving circuit drives the RF antenna for transmission using the input power of a power inputting unit. Emergency lamp units(200-1 to 200-4) include an optical output unit, an RF antenna for reception, a power extracting circuit, and an optical output driving circuit. The optical output unit generates a visual signal. The RF antenna for reception receives the RF signal. The power extracting circuit extracts power from the RF signal. The optical output driving circuit drives the optical output unit based on the extracted power. |
