PURPOSE: A device for locking a sliding plate of a sliding cellular phone is provided to easily enhance the elastic force, thereby the sliding phone is easily opened and closed by a small force. CONSTITUTION: A locking protrusion part(52) is descended if a sliding plate(40) is pressed in a longitudinal direction. The locking protrusion part presses the upper side of a holding hook part(75). At the same time, the barrier hook part is moved to the counterclockwise direction. The locking protrusion part is hanged to the barrier hook part. The barrier hook part is again restored to the clockwise direction by elastic force of vertical sustaining spring(76). The sliding plate is automatically submerged.
