PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp for a vehicle capable of appropriately holding relative positional relation between a lamp main body and a vehicle panel without great rigidity of a holding member, and suppressing an effect of a load input in the vehicle panel to the lamp main body. SOLUTION: The lamp for the vehicle 10 is provided with the lamp body 11 including a lens 14 arranged on a housing 13, and the holding member 12 for holding the positional relation between the lamp main body and the vehicle panel B. The holding member 12 includes a first wall part 18 with a through hole, and a second wall part 19 bent and continued from the first wall part 18, and the first wall part 18 is connected to the vehicle panel B through a restraining means 32 for restraining relative movement in a horizontal plane. The second wall part 19 is fixed on the housing 13, and a projection piece 17 projecting from the lens 14 to the vehicle panel B in a horizontal direction supports the holding member 12 in a state that the holding member is inserted in the through hole 21 of the holding member 12 so as to relatively move in an extending direction.
