Connection socket, solar panel and use of the solar panel

The socket (7) has two connection poles (15a, 15b), and electrical conductor contacts (11a, 11b) connected with respective electrical conductors (5a, 5b). An adjusting unit (13) e.g. copper converter, electrically connects the poles with the respective contacts. The adjusting unit converts electrical input current (Ie) supplied to the adjusting unit over the contacts into a predetermined output current (Ia) flowing over the poles. The adjusting unit converts a preset electrical input voltage (Ue) lying between the contacts into a predetermined output voltage (Ua) lying between the poles. An independent claim is also included for a solar panel comprising a solar module.
