PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring ultrasound refraction using vertical and square ultrasonic probes are provided to improve reliability on an ultrasonic examination result by accurate measurement of the ultrasound refraction. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring ultrasound refraction using vertical and square ultrasonic probes comprises a horizontal axis(340), an adsorption plate(330), a vertical axis motor/encoder(310), a horizontal axis motor/encoder(320), a receiving probe(103), a probe supporting spring(390), a vertical probe, and a square probe. The horizontal axis is connected to a square frame and one side of two vertical shafts by a slider(370). The adsorption plate is installed on the lower part of rectangular frame edge of four vertical axes. The vertical axis motor/encoder is installed on one side of the horizontal axis. The horizontal axis motor/encoder is installed on one side of the horizontal axis. The receiving probe is installed within a probe holder(360) attached to the horizontal axis motor/encoder. |
