FEEDFORWARD LINEAR POWER AMPLIFIER WITH NEGATIVE GROUP DELAY CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A feedforward linear power amplifier is provided to improve the efficiency of a linear system by controlling a time delay device through a negative group delay circuit. CONSTITUTION: A feedforward linear power amplifier comprises a negative group delay circuit(300) which has a resonance property in order to satisfy a group delay matching condition. A time delay device includes the negative group delay circuit. A bandpass filter eliminates an oscillation. The negative group delay circuit is installed in a common path. The negative group delay circuit is installed in the path of an error amplifier(600).
