The method involves identifying a group of data from contact data, and triggering an action from a terminal (B) based on the identified group of data, where the contact data is stored in an electronic directory i.e. electronic address notebook, of the terminal. Data identifying another terminal (A) is recognized from the contact data. A message to be communicated with the latter terminal is formed based on the latter terminal identifying data, where the message includes contact data of a user of the former terminal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing a method of processing contact data of a user of a terminal when the program is executed by a processor (2) a module for managing contact data in an electronic directory of the terminal, comprising a data group identification unit (3) a contacts management server comprising a contact database storage unit. |
