WATER LEAKAGE PROTECTION UNIT AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A water barrier unit and an installation method thereof are provided to accurately confirm the leakage of leachate and effectively cope with a leakage-predicted part. CONSTITUTION: A water barrier unit comprises a main body(100), a first sensor part(130), and a repair material supply pipe(160). The main body has a protrusion(110) in the center and a connection part(112) which is bent down from the protrusion and buried in a mixed water barrier layer. The first sensor part is provided in the protrusion and detects the inflow of subsurface water, which is caused by the leakage of leachate or the breakage of the mixed water barrier layer. The repair material supply pipe is horizontally installed in the location lower than the protrusion and supplies a repair material to the protrusion in case leachate leaks to the surface.
