PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same are provided to generate a vibration pattern of a user and synthesize the generated vibration pattern to music. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(100) comprises a touch screen, a sensing unit(140) and a control unit(180). The sensing unit detects impacts, and the control unit detects the information related to the impact from the touch screen or the sensing unit. The control unit converts the information related to the impact into vibration information corresponding to the information. The controller generates a vibration pattern through the vibration information.
