PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a virtual golf simulation apparatus using the same are provided, which enable a user to easily grasp geographic information of green and improve reality of virtual golf game. CONSTITUTION: A virtual golf simulation apparatus comprises: a sensing device(40) sensing a golf ball; a database(10) storing data about the information about the implementing image of the virtual golf course and geographic information of the virtual golf course; an image display system(20) which realizes an image of the virtual golf course using data saved in database and displays lattice on the golf course; and a controller(M) performing virtual golf simulation according to the result sensed by the sensing device and controlling to visually display topography of the golf course.
