DEVICE FOR FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD OF REMOTE INPUT/OUTPUT MODULE IN PLC

PURPOSE: A device for firmware download of a remote input/output module in plc is provided to download a firmware such as an operating system without manipulation of an operation mode switch. CONSTITUTION: A power switch(110) opens and closes an operating voltage which is supplied to the base frame of a remote input output module(100). A module connector(130) is connected to a PC connector of an external computer. The modular connector outputs a signal corresponding to a download mode. A controller(150) recognizes the state of an operation mode or a download mode and stores downloaded firmware to a nonvolatile memory.
