<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire a lot of character data without requiring Internet environment or a complicated operation procedure to a user, so as to generate various new characters. <P>SOLUTION: An image generation apparatus has: an imaging apparatus 2 for imaging image data printed on printed matter 1 such as a magazine; an image processing circuit 3 for converting the image data photographed by the imaging device 2 into internal data format data; a conversion data-storing memory 4 for storing the converted internal data format data; a basic character model-storing memory 5 for storing data on a basic character model; and an image display circuit 8 for generating a new character model by deforming the basic character model on the basis of conversion data or changing color of the basic character model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
