PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile communication equipment capable of reducing power consumption while digital broadcast is received. SOLUTION: In the mobile communication equipment in which a digital broadcast receiving function is merged, a standby operation performed via a mobile communication network is stopped, incoming notice of a call arrives at the mobile communication network and an e-mail are transferred to a digital broadcast network and the standby operation and reception of the e-mail are performed using a data broadcast function on the side of the digital broadcast network.
