PURPOSE: A method for controlling the velocity of a motor in a winding machine is provided to prevent line material from being cut by tension since frequency is reflected on drive signals. CONSTITUTION: A controller calculates the initial driving speed of an electric motor(S204). The inverter drives the electric motor at an initial driving speed(S206). The winding length of the line material reeled in the bobbin is calculated according to the drive of the electric motor(S208). The fixed winding length is determined(S210). If the winding length is not longer than fixed winding length, the drive speed, which is reduced according to the winding length of the line material, is calculated(S212). The electric motor is drive with the calculated drive speed(S214).
