The method involves inserting a potentiometric sensor (1) provided with a resistance path (2) in a measuring and/or processing station. Resistance of the resistance path is linearized by sequential adjustment of the resistance of the resistance path. A carbon paper is introduced for marking contact points on the resistance path before applying a measuring probe. Position of the contact points of the measuring probe is determined by determining a process of the resistance of the resistance path. |
