The circumference of the rotating metal wheel is formed in an acute-angled shape and rotates through the metal melt with an acute angle of 30-45[deg] . The gas flow and the gas composition of the gas nozzle and the cooling of the metal wheel for influencing the microstructure and/or the mechanical properties of the wire to be produced are varied.
