CAMERA ACTUATOR USING THE PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT

PURPOSE: A handy camera actuator using a piezoelectric element is provided to be used for a camera equipping a high pixel sensor due to long translation distance of a lens holder. CONSTITUTION: A lens holder(20) is arranged on a base member(10). The lens holder is driven in an optical axis. An actuator(30) runs the lens holder. A controller controls the actuator. The actuator includes a resonant cavity and a piezoelectric element. The controller applies the voltage with optimal frequency to the piezoelectric element.
