The invention relates to an esophageal brush, meant to collect upper digestive esogastric biopsy material necessary for investigation. According to the invention, the esophageal brush comprises a body (1) with a cylindrical area (c) continuing, at one end, with a threaded area (a), in order to be fastened on the head of a bougie (2), and, at the other end, with an olive (d) with an oval shaped cross-section, wherein there is fixed a haired brush (3) which continues with a rod (6) for gripping and handling.
