OVERVOLTAGE PREVENTION CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: An over voltage blocking device is provided to prevent a regulator and electronic devices from being damaged by blocking source power with an over voltage. CONSTITUTION: A fist smoothing circuit(51) smooths source power from a battery or an AC generator. An over voltage blocking unit(52) is connected between a first smoothing circuit unit and electronic devices. The over voltage blocking unit supplies the source power outputted from the first smoothing circuit to the electronic device. If the source power is the over voltage, the over voltage blocking unit blocks the source power. A voltage detector(53) measures the voltage of the source power outputted from the over voltage blocking unit. A second smoothing circuit(54) smooths the source power from the over voltage blocking unit.
