ENDOSCOPE WITH ULTRAVIOLET ILLUMINATION

The borescope has lighting and observation units with deviating prisms (48, 30) mounted at a distal end of a rigid tube (10). A light guiding unit (44) extends from the tube to the prism (48) and a lens (32) extends from the prism (30) to the tube. The prisms are placed transversally side by side in the tube and deviate a light beam from the guiding unit, in a direction parallel to a visual axis of the prism (30).
