A curable coating composition comprises a wax-coated polyamide powder which is a suspended finely divided polyamide based on a hydroxyl-functional binder and a polyisocyanate. An independent claim is also included for a method for preparing a curable coating compostion comprising coating a polyamide powder with a wax before adding it to a curable coating composition.
