SOLUBLE MYOSTATIN PRODOMAIN RECOMBINATION PROTEIN HAVING MYOSTATIN INHIBITORY ACTIVITY AND ITS USE

PURPOSE: A soluble myostatin prodomain recombinant protein having activity of suppressing myostatin is provided to induce double-muscle or low fat higher organism and marine organism and to improve muscle growth. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing soluble myostatin prodomain recombinant protein comprises: a step of cloning the myostatin prodomain gene using myostatin of tissue; a step of inserting the prodomain to an expression vector; a step of transforming the prodomain into E. coli and adding expression inducer to expressing recombinant protein of the soluble myostatin prodomain; and a step of purifying the recombinant protein of the transformed soluble myostatin prodomain. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating muscular diseases contains the recombinant protein as an active ingredient.
