PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a magnetite powder for food additive is provided to enable addition of magnetite powder to functional food, beverage or oriental medicinal materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a magnetite powder for food additive comprises: a step of baking magnetite at 320-350°C for 4-6 minutes; and a step of quenching in water, vinegar or liquor once to 19 times. The particle size of magnetite powder is about 220 mesh in case of quenching 17 times.
