ANTICANCER ACTIVITY ENHANCER CONTAINING PRX I INHIBITOR AS AN EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: An enhancer of anticancer drug activation containing Prx I inhibitor is provided to enhance sensitivity to TRAIL and to enhance autologous apoptosis of cancer cells by suppressing Prx I. CONSTITUTION: An agent for suppressing Prx I expression or activation is antisense oligonucleotide which complementarily binds to Prx I mRNA, peptide mimetics, polynucleotide, siRNA, RNAi, peptide which binds to a compound or Prx I protein, DNA or RNA aptamer, antibody. The siRNA is a polynucleotide of sequence number 1. An anticancer adjuvant enhancing TRAIL-associated autologous apoptosis contains Prx I inhibitor as an active ingredient.
