PURPOSE: A home screen display method for a portable terminal and a portable terminal supporting thereof are provided to edit, manage, and operate the page outputted on the home screen by a user. CONSTITUTION: A storage(150) stores a page outputted in a home screen. A display unit(141) outputs the page. An input signal generating module(120) creates an input signal for page editing, page addition and removal. A controller(160) processes the editing according to the input signal.
