PURPOSE: A method for displaying a visual signal of a portable terminal by recognizing scene images is provided to flexibly convert the working screen images and recognize scene images. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal outputs a first screen image corresponding to fist user function(S103). If the input signal for the user facility change over is received, the portable terminal re-sizes the first reduced screen image reducing the first scene image and the second reduced screen image reducing the second screen image corresponding to the second user facility and the scene image corresponding to the whole user facility.
