摘要 FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: protective lacquer composition for articles made from copper-zinc alloys based on KC-0125 lacquer contains 682% solution in diacetone and isopropyl alcohol of maleinised polybutadiene, modified with phenol resin with addition of 25% aqueous ammonia and a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water in ratio of 1:1 and acrylic copolymer with pH of the composition equal to 6.5-7.5. The method of applying a protective coating onto waveguide devices made from copper-zinc alloys having a complex shape involves preparing the surface, chemical cleaning, washing in hot water, washing in flowing cold water, etching, washing in flowing cold water, passivation, washing in flowing cold water. The lacquer film is deposited onto waveguide devices made from copper-zinc alloys having a complex shape by simple immersion of the said lacquer composition for 3-5 minutes at 15-28C and then washing with flowing cold water, drying for not less than 0.5 hours at 110-120C. ^ EFFECT: protective lacquer composition can form a corrosion-resistant coating on the surface of copper-zinc alloys. ^ 2 cl, 3 ex
