The device has female connection terminals (3), where each female connection terminal includes a conical female face for receiving a conical end of a male connection terminal (4). An elastic unit i.e. spring (5), attracts the female terminal towards the male terminal so as to maintain contact between the female and male terminals. A detection unit detects installation of the male terminal in the female terminal for controlling locking of a battery.
