MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD FOR BENDING MODULUS OF ELASTICITY OF WOOD

PURPOSE: A bending elasticity measure system of the timber and a measurement method thereof for reducing the measurement time required for one timber are provided to conveniently and accurately measure the characteristic of bending of the timber. CONSTITUTION: An arrangement cylinder(140) arranges in line the timber so that the timber adhere closely to the timber guide bar. A screw jack(150) adds the power to the arranged timber. A load cell(160) measures the size of the power applied to the timber. A controller controls the operation of the feed motor, stopper, lift, queue cylinder and screw jack. The controller calculates the modulus of bending elasticity of the timber through the size of the power measured at with the load cell.
