Disclosed is a pyrazole derivative, including a benzimidazole or an analog there of, of formula (I), wherein each X is N or CR10, A is a bond or optionally substituted C1-2alkylene, C is a carbocyclyl or heterocyclyl, optionally substituted, and wherein the other substituents are as defined in the specification. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the above compound, and the use of the compound for inhibiting Trk activity, such as in the treatment of cancer.
