PURPOSE: A tidal power generating device is provided to enable electricity to be produced in quantity without limit since a rotary shaft with a turbine can rotate on a plurality of floating members, which ascend and descend. CONSTITUTION: A tidal power generating device comprises a second embankment(10), first and second grooves(20,20'), floating members(30,30'), a rotary shaft(50), first and second chain gears(70,70'), third to sixth chain gears(61,61'). At least one second embankment is installed to be spaced from a breakwater. The first and second grooves are installed perpendicularly to the breakwater and the second embankment. The floating members are installed on the flow path between the breakwater and the second embankment. The rotary shaft comprises a power generating turbine and is rotatably installed on the floating member. The first and second chain gears are installed on both ends of the rotary shaft. The third to sixth chain gears are rotatably fixed to the breakwater and the second embankment. |
