Liquid drop dispensing of active substance onto tablets in continuous motion

An apparatus for producing pharmaceutical products, such as tablets, is disclosed. The tablets have a carrier substrate and a dosage of active ingredient. The apparatus includes a dosage dispenser, a substrate holder, and a device for moving the holder along the longitudinal axis of the apparatus. The dispenser dispenses a liquid droplet of dosage onto each substrate while the holder holds the substrates in position. The dispenser moves relative to each of the carrier substrates and the holding member, and the holding member moves while the dispenser dispenses the dosage.
