Disclosed is a chimeric adenoviral expression vector, said vector comprising an expression cassette comprising the following elements: (a) a first promoter operably linked to a nucleic acid encoding a toll-like receptor-3 (TLR-3) agonist, wherein said TLR-3 agonist is a dsRNA; and (b) a second promoter operably linked to a nucleic acid encoding a heterologous polypeptide. The vectors can be used to elicit an immune response directed against the heterologous peptide. |
