The system has a patient characteristics database (1) containing patient characteristics such as patient identifier, an encrypted password or social security number, where the system is accessible from a computer connected to Internet. The system automatically sends an alert message to a user by an electronic-mail, a short message service (SMS) and a multimedia message service (MMS) when vaccination information i.e. vaccination date, stored in a vaccination database (2) is attained. An anticipation delay between two successive vaccinations is defined and modified by the user. The vaccination information is stored on an electronic medium such as chip card, compact disk ROM (CD ROM), DVD, hard disk or flash memory.
