<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive controller and a motor drive control method for efficiently controlling the motor, whele keeping the torque output characteristics of the motor satisfactory. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage correction value ΔVH is set (S130) so that the difference between the absolute value of a voltage phase command value ψ2*, when the motor MG2 is driven by a square wave control system in a motor operating mode and an allowable voltage phase ψa2, allowed as a maximum value of the absolute value of a phase of a square wave voltage, when the motor MG2 is driven by the square wave control system, in a state where a post-boost voltage VH is a target post-boost voltage VHtag corresponding to a target operation point of the motor MG2 is zero; and a boost converter 55 is controlled (S140 and S150) so as that the post-boost voltage VH becomes a post-boost voltage command value VH*, which is the sum of the target post-boost voltage VHtag and the voltage correction value ΔVH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
