<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control circuit capable of quickly determining an operational abnormality of a motor and capable of quickly stopping the motor. <P>SOLUTION: The servo motor control circuit includes a reception means which receives a servo motor drive command containing a target stop position of a servo motor for driving a control object from a main control unit connected for communication, a rotational position detecting means which is provided to an output shaft of the servo motor for detecting a rotational position of the servo motor, and a drive control means for controlling driving of the servo motor so that the rotational position of the servo motor reaches the target stop position. It includes a rotational position change detecting means for detecting change of rotational position of the servo motor, and an operation limit determining means for determining whether the servo motor has reached an operation limit position or not based on the change in rotational position. When the servo motor is determined to have reached the operation limit position, the drive control means stops driving of the servo motor without receiving a servo motor drive stop command from the main control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
