<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a temperature of a coupling by using a temperature state sensor mounted to the coupling for detecting a temperature state directly from the coupling. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission device includes the coupling 37 for transmitting torque between a clutch housing 41 and a clutch hub 43 supported in a relatively rotatable manner, and the temperature state sensor 39 mounted to the coupling 37 for detecting the temperature state from the coupling 37 while radio-transmitting a detection signal.
