PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the user of a multistage parking apparatus from erroneously loading a high vehicle in a parking space for a low vehicle. SOLUTION: A bracket 9 for column mounting is attached to one-side upper surface 2a of a pallet 2 for dedicated use of low vehicle parking space of the multistage parking apparatus, and a column 10 is detachably attached to the bracket 9 for column mounting. A free hinge 12 is attached to the upper end side of the column 10. A cushioning member 14 is attached to the free hinge 12 so that the cushioning member 14 can be swung through the free hinge 12 in the loading/unloading direction of a vehicle 3 or 4. A detection device 16 is installed between the free hinge 12 and the column 10 side. When the high vehicle 4 rides on the pallet 2 and the cushioning member 14 is rotated, the detection device 16 is operated, a warning lamp 17 is lit, and a warning buzzer sounds. Since the user can notice that the high vehicle 4 is to be erroneously loaded in the parking space for the low vehicle 3, the vehicle is prevented from being erroneously loaded in the multistage parking apparatus.
