PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate crack initiation at a cylindrical concrete part 11 by enhancing the flexural strength of a concrete pile covered with a steel pipe, thereby reducing elongation occurring to the outer surface 13 of the cylindrical concrete part 11 even when elongation occurs on the inner surface 7 side of the steel pipe 6. SOLUTION: The concrete pile 30 covered with the steel pipe is constituted by forming the cylindrical concrete part 11 on the inner surface 7 side of the steel pipe 6 to which end plates 1, 1 are fixed, through a releasable layer 10. In this case, the steel pipe 6 is formed using material enhanced in tensile strength (or a yield point) compared to a conventional one, or its thickness t<SB>1</SB>is set thicker. The flexural strength of the concrete pile 30 covered with the steel pipe is thereby enhanced. Concrete conventionally used for the concrete pile 30 covered with the steel pipe can be used for the cylindrical concrete part 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
