PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device of a rotor for completely and elastically returning a clamping sleeve upon retreating of a piston during un-clamping of the rotor. SOLUTION: The clamp device includes a base 10, the rotor 12 supported at the base to be rotated and indexed, and the clamping sleeve 30 arranged at an annular space 21 formed between an outer circumference 15a formed on one of the base and the rotor and an inner circumference 20a formed on the other one, and frictionally engaged with the inner and outer circumferences of the base and the rotor by being pressed and compressed by a piston 31 in an axial direction.
