<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus, photographing in such a timing that a desired contrast effect can be obtained by controlling injection of a contrast medium into a subject according to a time variation of a contrast medium concentration in a region of interest. <P>SOLUTION: A CT value calculating part 30 obtains a CT value within a region of interest along the time series based on image data acquired by photographing a subject to which a contrast medium is injected. A second CT value monitoring part 31 outputs a designation for stopping injection of the contrast medium to a contrast medium injector 5 when the CT value reaches a preset stop CT value or more.
