<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical implement for a laundry pole, improving a clothes drying function when fixing the washing and hangers on which the washing is hung to the laundry pole with clothespins and drying the same as in ordinary clothes drying work. <P>SOLUTION: This cylindrical implement is externally fitted to the laundry pole for improving the clothes drying function, and the cylindrical implement has a structure of freely rotating around the laundry pole without offsetting in the whole periphery. In the cylindrical implement, the sectional form of a part of the inner peripheral surface that contacts the laundry pole is a regular circle or regular polygons which may projecting and recessed parts. The continuous two thirds or more of the circumference of the sectional form of the outer wall of the cylindrical implement is a regular circle, regular polygons or part thereof, and also a generating line over continuous two thirds or more of the circumference of the sectional form of the outer wall of the cylindrical implement is parallel to the rotating axis of the cylindrical implement.
