<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form first and second areas of a required pattern at a required position at a low cost, in a method for patterning the first and second areas having different surface resistivities in a conductive film. <P>SOLUTION: While a potential difference E is applied between the conductive film 12 and an electrode body 14, they are made close to each other to generate electric discharge. By the electric discharge, surface resistivity in the predetermined first area 16 of the conductive film 12 is set higher than that of the second area 18 adjacent to the first area 16. The electrode body 14 comprises a plurality of magnetic granular materials 20 having predetermined average grain diameters. An electric insulating mask 32 provided with the transmission part 28 of a contour corresponding to the first area 16 and the shield part 30 of a contour corresponding to the second area 18 is placed on the conductive film 12. A magnet roll 24 is rotated, the magnetic granular materials 20 which are magnetically attracted are continuously moved in the direction which approaches the mask 32 and the direction away from it. Through the transmission part 28, electric discharge is generated between the first area 16 and the magnetic granular materials 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
